Irma 2, following the models

From a few hours ago, the GOES 16 observation, 3 minute intervals. This time, ENE of Puerto Rico (the thin outline)

This is what the 4 main services say today (see previous post)

If you look at yesterday’s models, now that Cuba is most probably a miss, only one of the 4 models is still on their recent track: GFS.

GFS shows Irma dragging along the Florida coastline and making landfall in Georgia here

The above image shows the time being 12z, which means 12+ zulu (Greenwich) on Sept 6, landfall in 126 hours. The right hand scale is windspeed.
