Rained all day. The 2 trucks that pulled in to the hotel today said the road was almost not doable. One well-travelled Brit, here to visit the site his uncle died in the Battle of Kohima, said it was the worst road conditions he’s ever seen. So the question is how long will it take for the mud to at least sort of dry, or get shallower? The main problem is the steepness down the mountain. Steep downhill mud, lol!
